The Jade-Weser-Port in Wilhelmshaven is one of the leading container ports in Germany and Europe. Our Ro/Ro berths for up to 15,000 vehicles are located in the inner port including charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
Due to the high demand, we are investing in the location and the successful expansion of the electric hub. The new handling area with 15,000 parking spaces and a direct rail connection will be equipped with PV carports. A state-of-the-art PDI centre as well as a car wash will be also implemented.

The sustainable and future-oriented further development of the port of Wilhelmshaven by the MOSOLF Group has been described in as ‘groundbreaking’ (quote from Olaf Lies, Minister of Economic Affairs of the State of Lower Saxony, at the award ceremony for the City and Club of Wilhelmshaven on 24 November 2024). In addition to the current logistics area, we will also utilize an area in the Rüstersieler Groden within the Geniusbank industrial estate in the long term. There, we will promote the use of renewable energy through the integration of solar carports and create an environmentally friendly infrastructure that will make automobile handling at the site future-proof. The investment not only strengthens the maritime infrastructure, but also underlines the importance of the location as a hub for the international automotive trade in Germany.
